Summerlin  Master Plannned Community  ranked  the 6th best-selling Master Planned Community in the nation

Summerlin, in Las Vegas  placed No. 6 for sales in the first half of 2015, with 327 home closings, based on analysis by Maryland-based real estate consultant RCLCO.

Summerlin’s sales were up 32 percent compared with the same period in 2014, when the master plan sold 248 units and ranked No. 13.

RCLCO researchers attributed the community’s gains in part to the October opening of a 1.6 million-square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment district at Downtown Summerlin, which the company said provided “additional retail and entertainment” for Summerlin’s residents.

The community is on track to beat its 2014 total of 437 closings.
